Minimize Major network outage scheduled Sunday, Dec. 22, 6 p.m. - Monday, Dec. 23, 6 a.m.

This message has been approved by Michael Barrett, Associate Vice President and Chief Information Officer, for distribution to all students, faculty, and staff.

A complete outage of all ITS services at Florida State University will occur between the hours of 6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013, through 6 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 23, 2013, while Information Technology Services (ITS) performs required maintenance and critical updates to the Sliger Data Center network.

During this time, all ITS services will be unavailable, including but not limited to:

  • FSU main website (
  • All Florida State websites powered by eZ Publish or Coldfusion
  • OMNI
  • myFSU Portal
  • Blackboard
  • Faculty and staff email
  • myFSU student email
  • Campus wireless
  • VoIP telephone lines
  • FSU Service Center Case Management System
  • All SharePoint based sites and applications
