King Life Science Center
The James E. King Life Science building is home to the Department of Biological Science. This diverse undergraduate program can be tailored to support careers in biomedical sciences, biotechnology, neuroscience, marine conservation, and environmental biology. Professors welcome undergraduates into their laboratories for research opportunities. The department regularly make use of the research centers at FSU, including the National High Magnet Field Laboratory, our Molecular and Imaging Core facilities, and the FSU Coastal and Marine Laboratory.

The Department of Biological Science prepares students for a broad spectrum of graduate programs, including FSU’s master’s and PhD programs in Cell and Molecular Biology; Ecology and Evolution; and Neuroscience.
